Recommendations
At Village Coin and Metals, we help build your coin portfolio based on your own unique needs. We usually recommend 10% to 20% of your overall portfolio to be in liquid, tangible assets. A young professional at the start of his career, creating wealth, is in a different category than a grandparent looking to preserve and pass on wealth to heirs. We use a variety of guidelines, but ultimately will customize your portfolio individually.
Here are three examples of packages that

Level 1
Up to $50,000
At this level, we recommend common silver, gold and platinum bullion and dated coins. These portfolios can be easily modified for IRA Individual Retirement accounts.
Level 2
$50,000 to $100,000
This portfolio would be a diversified base of better dated gold and silver pieces and rarities. Here’s the start to your collection. Each coin would be certified and guaranteed for condition and authenticity by either the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) or the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation of America (NGC). Years of experience buying, selling and trading coins have taught us which are the most liquid and desirable. We will also include a report with each coin to explain why it was chosen, and keep track of the progress over time. At any time, with one phone call or email, we can liquidate your coins, or update you on the current values.
Level 3
$100,000+
